Mid Thing v2 is a flexible MIDI to CV converter. Allowing polyphonic notes handling, envelope and LFO generation as well as all available MIDI messages to be converted into CV. The ‘TAZM-O’ is an analog triangle core oscillator featuring through-zero frequency modulation and a collection of some of our favourite features of classic oscillator designs. It includes a continuous morphing wave/pulse width shape control inspired by the Serge NTO, dual SH-101 style varied pulse sub octave outputs, a voltage controlled FM Index typically found in larger complex oscillators, a built in output level VCA and voltage controlled octave transposition similar to the multipliers found on Akemie’s Castle digital FM VCO.

At its heart lies an analogue 1-to-8 signal switch feeding an octet of high-stability track/sample-and-hold stages. Each of these has its own analogue output with an attenuation slider, in addition to a gate output. LEDs visualise the status of each stage in real time. The switch can be controlled sequentially using the built-in 8-step counter, or addressed directly by an analogue control voltage (CV).

The Atlx expander provides 16 additional jacks to the Atlantix, including: dedicated waveform outputs for A and B oscillators, filter outputs, and a ring modulator. Atlx adds many new possibilities for self-patching, advanced routing and connections to other modules.
